If you know me, you know I love chocolate! It’s the dessert I always want, whether it comes in the form of a cookie, a cake or even just a nugget. Here are ten of my favorite chocolate temptations. Some are more elaborate than others, but all are delicious and satisfying for the chocolate lover.

Chocolate Strawberry Tart

With the bright red, heart-shaped strawberries, this chocolate strawberry tart is perfect for Valentine’s Day, but it also works at Easter or any day of the year! It’s pretty, delicious and decadent and so much more fun to eat than a chocolate covered strawberry.

Chocolate Nutella 4-Layer Cake

This delicious chocolate hazelnut cake is impressive with all four layers. Four layers means more room for the delicious hazelnut chocolate icing, and we know it’s all about the icing! It will make all your nutty chocolate lovers super happy and it’s easy to decorate and serve.

Dark Chocolate Palmiers

These sweet treats are so simple to make because there are only three ingredients and one of them is store-bought puff pastry. This is the little treat you can make at the drop of a hat if you keep the ingredients on hand and you should ALWAYS have chocolate on hand. Watch out for these ones – they are tempting AND addictive.

Chocolate Raspberry Pots de Crème

There are few things easier to make in the sous vide circulator than these little jarred puddings. You can make these well ahead of time and keep them in the refrigerator. Just remember to let them sit out for 30 minutes to an hour before serving, then top with the raspberry coulis and whipped cream. To make these gems in the oven, bake the jars uncovered  in a water bath, covered with aluminum foil at 300˚F for 30 to 40 minutes.

Chocolate Soufflés

No need to be intimated when making a chocolate soufflé. There are just three components – you just need to know how to put them together. This recipe for soufflés actually uses the air fryer, but you can also cook them in the oven at XXX˚F for XX minutes. Just remember – everyone waits for the soufflé because the soufflé waits for no-one and will fall after it reaches the table.

Chocolate Eton Mess

This is one of my favorites! With a name like Chocolate Eton Mess, no one should ever feel intimidated to make this dessert. You can’t really “mess” it up… at least not more than it is intended to be messed up! You can serve it on a plate or break it up into a bowl, layering the meringue with berries, cream and of course… more grated chocolate.

Dark Chocolate Cake with Raspberry Mousse

You’ll notice that chocolate and raspberry is a favorite combination of mine. I think the sweet-tart flavor of raspberries pairs so nicely with chocolate. This would be a beautiful cake to feed a few people on Valentine’s Day, but is truly pretty and perfect for any birthday or just any plain ol’ day of the year.

Chocolate Mocha Swiss Roll

I know this looks like Christmas and the holidays, but a Swiss roll is not a Yule Log, especially once you slice it into perfect-sized portions. This recipe for a chocolate mocha Swiss roll is delicious any time of the year, but it does make a great holiday dessert too.

Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Who doesn’t love a brownie? Seriously. These chocolate raspberry brownies are decadent and pretty too. There are fresh raspberries throughout the brownie and then a layer of chocolate coats the top before you drizzle raspberry icing over it all. Two of my favorite flavors combined again.

Chocolate Toasted Coconut Balls

These little decadent chocolate toasted coconut balls are easy to make but hard to resist. Make them and then just try to eat only one! Luckily, you can freeze them, putting temptation at least 30 minutes out of reach. Pack these little gems into a box and share with friends. They make a sweet hostess gift.
