Ingredients

  • 2 cups “riced” or grated cauliflower (about ½ of large head)
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • cups grated mozzarella cheese divided
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce
  • fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Grate the cauliflower with a box grater or finely chop it in a food processor. Place the cauliflower in the center of a clean kitchen towel and twist it to squeeze all the water out.
  3. Place the cauliflower in a large bowl and add the Parmesan cheese, ½ cup of the mozzarella cheese, oregano, flour, egg, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Line the inside of a 7-inch baking pan with aluminum foil. Spread the cauliflower mixture into pan, pressing it up the sides of the pan.
  5. Air-fry for 10 minutes. Remove the pan from air fryer and invert the cauliflower crust onto a plate. Slide the crust back into the baking pan to cook the bottom of the crust. Air-fry at 400°F for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove the pan from air fryer and invert the crust back onto aluminum foil so that the crust is now right side up again. Place the foil and crust back into the baking pan. Spread the pizza sauce over the crust and top with the remaining mozzarella cheese and some dried oregano. Air-fry the pizza at 360°F for 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and browned.
  7. Let the pizza sit in the air fryer for a few minutes after it has finished cooking. Pull the pizza out of the pan with the aluminum foil and transfer it to a cutting board. Remove the foil. Top the pizza with fresh basil, cut into four wedges and serve.

    1. Hi Paula. You can bake this pizza in a regular oven on 425° F for 25 minutes. You do not need to flip the crust over. Then top with the sauce and cheese and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and starts to brown.

Maybe add that you should spray the foil… mine stuck on the first pass and ruined dinner, Smelled good though…

    1. So sorry you had a problem with your cauliflower crust. The crust is un-molded when it is only cooked halfway through, so it shouldn’t stick to the foil. But you could definitely brush it with a little olive oil first.
