This lemon dill buttermilk dressing was originally created to cool the heat of Nashville Hot Chicken, but it's a lovely light dressing for greens as well.
Jump to Recipe (or scroll for photos and riveting information...)Combine buttermilk, Greek yogurt (or sour cream), lemon zest and lemon juice in a bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
Stir in fresh the chopped fresh dill and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Serve over greens or as a cooling sauce for spicy Nashville Hot Chicken.
Yum, Yum!
I made the Dill Cauliflower Salad for the 4th of July Party and everyone LOVED it.
Needs to be thicker. Maybe add a touch of garlic for more flavor.
I always follow you in your show here in U tube .i like your way to teach the easy way of your food but super delicious .
Thanks and more powerful to your show and your book recipe.
I’m going to make this as it sounds delish. I get yoghurt from a dairy farm locally so should be really yummy in this. Plus I love dill! Thx Meredith. Enjoy watching you cook.
