Ingredients
2tablespoonsbutter
1shallotminced
13ouncesfrozen peas
¼cupheavy cream
salt and freshly ground black pepper
¼cupchopped fresh mint leaves
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shallots and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes, until they start to soften. Add the peas and heavy cream to the skillet and cook for 4 to 6 minutes until the peas are soft and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Season the peas with salt and freshly ground black pepper and stir in the fresh mint leaves. Transfer the minted peas to serving bowl and serve immediately.
