These are so superior to store bought croutons and a great way to use up leftover bread. Plus, you can make just as much as you need for any particular meal. Just remember to add a few so you can snack on some while you make the rest of dinner!

Ingredients
  • 4 cups cubed sourdough bread 1-inch cubes (about 8 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • ¼ - ½ teaspoon salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and taste to make sure it is seasoned to your liking.
  2. Pre-heat the air fryer to 400ºF for 2 minutes.
  3. Toss the bread cubes into the air fryer and air-fry for 5 to 7 minutes, shaking the basket once or twice while they cook.
  4. Serve warm or store in an airtight container.
Recipe Notes

You can use all kinds of bread for croutons – multi-grain, brioche, challah, baguette, or ciabatta – but different breads take different amounts of time to cook. So, just check the croutons when you shake the basket during the cooking process.
