Brush the tortillas with the vegetable oil on both sides.
Stack the oiled tortillas into a pile and cut them into wedges by cutting them either into 6 or 8 triangular chips.
Working in batches, transfer some of the oiled tortilla wedges to the air fryer basket in one layer. The chips can over lap on each other a little, but don't over-crowd the basket. Season with salt.
Air-fry at 380ºF for 5 to 6 minutes, shaking the basket once or twice during the cooking process.
Store in an airtight container until serving. Chips will be best the day they are made.
