Making a green smoothie is super easy with a powerful blend as long as you remember the 2:2:3 ratio of liquid to dark greens to fruit - that's 2 cups of liquid, 2 cups of dark greens and 3 cups of fruit.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups liquid coconut water or coconut milk or almond milk or water
  • 2 cups dark greens kale or spinach or chard or collard greens
  • 3 cups fruit pineapple, pear, apple, berries, banana, avocado, mango, orange or any combination of fruit
  • a little extra flavor fresh ginger or almond butter or mint leaves or cilantro or honey
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons Superfoods acai powder or flax meal or chia seeds or Matcha powder
Instructions
  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender in the following order: liquid, greens, fruit. Pack the greens down toward the blade for easier blending.
  2. Add any superfoods or additional flavors you are using.
  3. Blend.
  4. Enjoy.
